BANA Space Settlement Creators

César Del Valle

César Augusto Del Valle Rolón, at the young age of 4, was enrolled in the Hogar Colegio la Milagrosa, becoming the youngest at his class. As the years passed, César developed in many different fields including sports, music, sciences, and architecture. One of the moments that greatly influenced this student was the Puerto Rico NASA Summer STEM Academy, in here he discovered his passion for architecture and engineering. Now César,in his senior year in the Hogar Colegio la Milagrosa maintains active learning various languages like French, Japanese, Italian, English and Spanish. This busy student, manages to maintain an above average GPA, while participating in many extracurricular activities like the Saturday Research Academy in the Arecibo Observatory. In his future we can expect great success in the field of architecture since this creative mind works everyday towards that and enriching it with a great science background. 

Rosa Andújar

Rosa Andújar has always been different from most people. Also, she enjoys being random and making other people laugh, however, she can be honest to the point she could be considered mean. She has a good sense of imagination and can write short poems. In 2008, she won an award for being one of the top scores on the College Board Piense. Now, in the 12th grade, she is the history keeper of the Student Council and a secretary in the Library Club. Most of the time you can find her reading, writing or watching anime.
  
 

Paola Figueroa-Delgado

Paola Victoria Figueroa Delgado graduated and is still involved in many school and extracurricular activities- including the Saturday Research Academy in the Arecibo Observatory. She is known for being very creative and dynamic, very willing and responsible and having many things on her schedule, in other words, an endless to-do list. Miss Figueroa, has a peculiar interest in the science community. She enjoys gaining knowledge and believes every second that passes you learn something new. She is a very analytical person, you can even call her a "perseverant perfectionist". She said and I quote: "My modo is; "You can do anything you set your mind to". Her goals in life are a few; such as, having a M.D. in Psychiatry, a major in Biomedical Science, and if possible a Ph.D. in Engineering. Miss Figueroa has a passion for reading, writing, researching, dance, theater, art and music. Those are things she appreciates and enjoys; because it keeps her mind entertained, constantly creating and coming up with new and innovative ideas. Being different is something that defines her, being able to handle many things at once and pull them off all together is worth looking up to. 

 

Orlando Garcés

Orlando Garcés enjoys reading, learning every chance he gets, and collecting figures and antiques. He is intelligent, creative, and friendly. He has achieved many things, but the most recent one is to be able to participate in the Pre-College Research Program in the Arecibo Observatory, which he fully enjoys. He loves science since he was a little kid. His love for science started looking at the stars. He always looked at them and wished he could know more about them and ever since he gets involve in the science world to know more of what he loves, stars. He is part of the Student Council in his high school and is the President of the Library Club.

 

Ivonne Padín

Ivonne Y. Padin Martinez has studied in: Eugenio Maria De Hostos, Francisco G. Pachin Marin, Edgewood Middle School, Luis Melendez Rodriguez and Padre Anibal Reyes Belen. She graduated from elementary and middle school with and average of +3.00.   Curses the eleventh grade in Padre Anibal Reyes Belen Architectural Drawing, her goal as a professional is to become a lawyer. She has participated in different associations, clubs and school projects like  flautist, pianist, shadow drawing , mimics, gymnastic, karate, 4H, library assistant and the scholar directive.

Patricia Piñeiro

Patricia Piñeiro since the very beginning she showed great interest in science and the knowledge it can offer to everyone. In various evaluations her results were above-average and she has usually been the youngest among her classmates. All her life science and arts have played a very important role. She was taught to love science and learned a few things thanks to some of her family members since they are Biologists and Analytic Chemists. Not also she loves science but also haves a great passion for arts and music since she was very little. She believes that by working with this project her love for science will increase and also her knowledge about new ways for a better life style. 
 

Agnes Sastre

Agnes Sastre is currently studying in Hogar Colegio La Milagrosa. She enjoys art, music and literature, but also enjoys math and science. She is now, discovering this other side of science she wasn't aware of and all that the future awaits. She is intrigued to know how will the future will be and how will the human being will develop to see  further than just earth and too see all the possibilities the future will provide. 

Diego Llenza

Diego Orlando Llenza Aponte graduated from Colegio San Antonio. He plans to go study to the United States where he would major in geology and continue his studies in astrogeology. He has also participated in various robotic competitions in his school club, including 2 FIRST regionals in Orlando Florida. From his many skills his most important are his skills in using technology by easily undertsanding how they function and work. As man that has always been fascinated by the mysteries of the universe he is greatly interested in the BANA space settlement and greatly devoted to helping this project come to life.

Nayrobie Rivera

Nayrobie Lee Rivera Estevez graduated from her school in Miguel F. Santiago Echegaray High School and participates along the Business Administration Program offered in the institution.

 

Nayrobie is an honest, responsible, intelligent, creative, and original individual. She works very hard to give her all in everything she sets her mind to. Miss Rivera enjoys helping other people, especially those she loves the most. She enjoys sports and the arts particularly music and theater. She has a passion for creative writing. Also, she is deeply interest and concerned of the wellbeing of our planet. Nairobi’s future endeavor is to earn a degree in geology, a certificate in meteorology and MA in Physical Oceanography. For now, she begins her journey in the solid floors of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. Nayrobie aspired to become a weather forecaster and would like to, later on, work for Fish and Wildlife Service.
