Q: When is the deadline for the online application form?

 

A: The deadline for the online application form is on 08/06/16 @11:59pm ATL. The online application form consists in the students' personal profile and the admission essay. To access the online form, please visit: http://application.aosa.naic.edu/

Q: When will I know if I have been selected to be a candidate?

A: Students that have been nominated for a candidacy position at AOSA will be notified by 08/15/16

 

Q: When is the deadline for application supporting documents?

​

A: The deadline for application supporting documents is the same as the online application, 08/06/16. The supporting documents consist on the following: 

 

- Photo of your FACE ( no selfies!)

- Copy of your School Grades

- Parent Authorizaztion Form

These documents must be emailed in one email to: admissions@aosa.naic.edu

Q: Where and how do I send the documents? 

​

A: The supporting documents, must be sent via e-mail to Admissions@aosa.naic.edu . Applicants can send multiple attachments or compliel all documents in one email. 

Q: I am a homeschooled student, can I participate? 

 

A: Yes! Our program welcomes students from diverse education systems. Homeschool students in Puerto Rico should be registered with the PR Department of Education, instructors (parents) should provide grade transcripts, and "school" authorization.

Q: When does the Program start and when does it end? 

 

A: The program starts on 08/20/16 and ends on 12/10/16

Q: How do I know if I have been accepted to the program? 

 

A: Once the application period has come to an end, applicants will receive an e-mail with a letter attached regarding the following steps for their consideration to candidacy.

Selected students will be invited for an Orientation/Interview session to which all original supporting documents must be brought to.

Applicants selected for orientation will receive notification via email  by 08/15/20 with information regarding their application status.

Q: Do I need to do anything else before the first meeting?

 

A: Yes. Students must complete a pre-assesment (pre-test), available online, to be considered as a potential candidate and participant of the program. The deadline for the pre-assesment is on 08/19/16

Q: What is the cost of the program? 

 

A: The program is free of cost. However students might be requested to provide a contribution for their meals of $6.00/meal
