We are very enthusiastic about beginning promptly with our teacher training and workshops. 

 

Sponsored by one of the Observatory's Mission's the NASA OSIRIS-Rex Asteroid Mission, The AO Space Academy offers teacher training workshops relating to the areas of Mathematics, Science and Arts with a focus on Rocks from Space!  Come learn about Asteroids, Meteors and Comets with hands on activities that you can replicate in your classroom!
Teachers participating in these workshops receive a participation stipend and certificate of completion of professional development hours.

 

Requirements:

 

-Commit to participation in full lenght of  workshop

-Be a School Teacher or Home School Tutor

-Teach the subjects of: Math, Science or Arts

-Complete School Authorization Form

-Complete Application Form
